I'll try to structure it so that you can simply skip parts you're not interested in. But I will provide you with the context and the background of why certain things have worked out (or not) for my particular case, and in what numbers all of that resulted so far. I will not tell you whether it's a good idea (for you or in general) to start making a game full time. I'm writing this post mortem for two reasons: To recap for myself what went well and what went wrong, and also to give a little something back to the community, hoping a few of you can learn something from the mistakes I made, from the decisions that worked out, and from my other experiences during the process.
